MEMBERS IN GOOD STANDING MAY OPT TO PAY THE DUES IN QUARTERLY INSTALLMENTS OF $60.50 EACH, DUE JANUARY 1, APRIL 1, JULY 1, AND OCTOBER 1. THERE HAS BEEN NO INCREASE IN DUES SINCE JANUARY 1, 2007.

IMPORTANT NOTICE TO ACA MEMBERS:
At the Board meeting on August 11, 2009, based upon our Attorney's opinion that the Section 1, Other Standards, of the Architectural Standards and Guidelines, dealing with Homebased Businesses, is in direct conflict with the Ashbrook Recorded Documents, this section was rescinded by unanimous vote.

Please make the appropriate notes in your copy of the Disclosure Book to reflect this change.

Board Meeting Notice:
Please take note that at the Board meeting on Tuesday, August 11, 2009, a motion was unanimously passed setting the non-compliance penalty assessment for recurring violations of the Covenants, Rules, and Standards, other than for trashcan and grasscutting violations, at $50. per incident as allowed by the Virginia POA Act.

Board Meeting Notice:
At the June 9 Board meeting the following resolution was passed: "The recreation and common areas of Ashbrook are for exclusive usage by Ashbrook owners and residents and their accompanied houseguests. All others are trespassing." This was done to prevent someone in Ashbrook from allowing large groups of outsiders, such as soccer teams, etc., from coming in here and monopolizing the facilities in such a manner that our own kids cannot use the areas. If an owner/resident rents the community center they can of course bring in outsiders to that event.
